Don and Ron Bell run an animal shelter and are advocates for the preservation of the red-bellied sap squirrel. They were behind the case of the glowing alien. Don wore the alien costume and Ron operated the fake spaceship. They wanted to close down the park and turn it into a nature preserve for the red-bellied sap squirrel, and eventually turn it into an all-squirrel zoo they could use to make money.
